FSD Kenya supports start-ups through grants, research, technical expertise, and connections to key industry players which enable them to develop innovative solutions that promote financial inclusion.

Examples of what we’ve done

Credit for clean energy

FSD is working with M-Kopa to enhance its unique credit facilitation model. M-Kopa provides affordable energy solutions to low-income customers and currently has 200,000 active recipients.


Digital fundraising

FSD is partnering with M-Changa to research and conduct experiments on how to digitise community fundraising. M-Changa currently reaches over 15,000 customers.
