FSD Kenya is an independent Trust set up in 2005 to deepen and support inclusive financial markets in Kenya. Our current Strategy
for 2016-2021 aims to generate sustainable improvements in the livelihoods of lower-income people. To deliver this, we require experts who deeply understand financial markets, deploy their expertise to identify new opportunities for engagement and provide the best strategic and technical advice to our partners across the public and private sectors.
We are seeking to expand our pool of technical experts. These are consultants who are topic-specialists and subject matter experts to be pre-qualified in order to be called on, as and when work arises. As a virtual team, they are to work alongside and augment our full-time staff capacity, working within FSD Kenya or supporting our key partners. While working on our planned
set of activities, flexibility will be required especially when work arises on short notice.
Proposals and applications are sought in a wide range of areas in financial sector markets, policy and regulation, which include:
Competition policy and law in the financial sector
Financial inclusion policy
Analysis of financial markets
Credit markets infrastructure, policy and law
