Summary

The main objectives of the Survey on Bank Charges and Lending rates are: (1) To provide current and potential bank customers with regular, consistent and easily understood information on various bank charges and lending rates so that they can make informed banking choices. (2) To encourage customers to utilize this information. (3) To encourage competition on the basis of price (or value) among commercial banks.
