About David Ferrand

David has the overall responsibility for leading FSD Kenya to achieve its goal of generating sustainable improvements in the livelihoods of lower-income households through reduced vulnerability to shocks, increased incomes and employment. He leads the development of FSD's strategy and oversees its delivery, ensuring that we are fully accountable for what we do to our funders and other critical stakeholders. Reporting to the Trustees, he oversees system efficiency and ensures appropriate fiduciary oversight is maintained. He supports national policymakers and implementers, liaises and harmonises with other key development players, provides support in project design, review, and analysis and provides technical advice to the FSD team and key partners.
