Social protection

FSD is working to support the establishment of a government-led national social protection system that delivers long-term, guaranteed cash transfers to the poorest and most vulnerable households in Kenya. The goal is to reduce poverty and hunger, promote asset retention and accumulation, improve education and healthcare uptake, and increase access to financial services. The project, HSNP, is supported by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and implemented by a number of partners. FSD provides digital payment solutions, ensuring funds are delivered to the correct recipients with transparency and accountability.
