A promise fulfilled? Financial market development in Kenya, 2011-2015

This report draws on findings from studies of local level retail financial markets that are intended to add depth and insight to the understanding of how this market is developing. It seeks to address the question of how supply is changing at the local level and to examine qualitatively the impact that these changes are having on low-income people’s lives and livelihoods.
